The majority of our domestic window cleaning customers are cleaned on a 4 weekly rota for optimal results. For larger commercial window cleaning we can accommodate the schedule you require.
After each clean your windows will be left wet and will need a short time to dry before leaving your windows sparkling. We do not use ordinary tap water, we use purified water that has had all contaminates removed. Our clean will remove all dirt and the pure water left on your windows will evaporate, leaving you with a spot free finish. The water fed pole method of cleaning allows us to clean your frames and sills at the same time as well as being able to reach hard to access windows safely from ground level. We are confident in our systems and leave all customers with a satisfaction guarantee.
We use an automated text/email reminder service to notify you the night before each visit. We may at times be plus or minus a day or two if we need to re-order our database but will always give prior notice.
Once you have agreed to a 4-weekly all-year-round service, we are happy to supply a schedule of visit dates; however, this is a guide indicating the week commencement date when we plan to visit, and we cannot be held to a specific date or time. With such factors as public holidays, bad weather, etc., it is not always possible to supply an exact date.
We will always try and be as reliable as we can for you but we also appreciate the customer being reliable. Cancellation on theday of the clean is too late to change your appointment therefore if you turn our team away at the door or do not provide access to all of the property, we reserve the right to charge you full price.
Areas not cleaned for prolonged periods will be charged at an 8 or 12 weekly rate on the completion date.
You can contact us the day before upon receipt of the appointment message reminder either by text or email to inform us of any areas not to be cleaned or if away on holiday, we can then adjust our schedule accordingly.
The methods we use and have used along with the specialist brushes selected , are chosen so that it is not possible to scratch glass of any sort, whether new glass or (VELUX) skylights.
The brushes are made by a specialist company who have been supplying them to the WFP window cleaning industry for over a decade now and are made using PBT polyester bristles and nylon stocks. Both materials are not hard enough to scratch glass in use. They are also designed not to hold on to grit or stones in cleaning.
Q:"Why may scratching have appeared visible following our last visit"?
A: One reason may be that scratches can sometimes appear after a first few cleans with a pure water window cleaning system. Why is this? The scratching is usually already on the glass, but traditional cleaning methods allows detergent residue and dirt to remain in the scratch which makes it less visible under sunlight. When a window is properly cleaned with pure water, all of the residue and dirt is fully flushed out from all of the scratches. This then allows the sunlight to catch the facets of the scratch and it shows up - much like having a diamond ring cleaned will allow it to sparkle and shine more.
Win-pro holds all legally required liability insurances.
You are required to pay within 7 days of the cleaning date; to ensure this happens, please pay for your regular window cleaning via GoCardless Direct Debit or by cash on the day.
You can sign up to GoCardless by requesting a link or signing up on the prices page.
If your windows and doors have never been cleaned with pure water before, then you may find there is a transition period of about 3 cleans.
We always say it can take up to 3 cleans to see optimum results.
Why is this?
Well, if your windows have only ever been cleaned in the traditional way (with a squeegee and a mop) or never cleaned before then quite a lot of dirt will be built up in the seals of your windows and doors. We need to remove this dirt.
So on your first window clean, we will spend extra time applying a cleaning solution to your windows and doors and flushing those seals. And you’ll see immediate results after your clean.
However, as explained earlier on this page, Pure Water acts like a magnet to dirt, drawing it to itself. This is what gives Pure Water its amazing window cleaning capabilities. But it’s also what can cause a few teething issues during the first 2 or 3 cleans.
You see we can complete your clean and leave everything looking great, only for the customer to later find a few drips and runs have appeared on their glass or on their window sills, after we have left site.
This is because the Pure Water has continued to act like a magnet, drawing the dirt out to itself. So a few small runs appearing during the initial cleans is a totally normal part of the transition period, and we ask that if possible, you can bare with the process.
Some windows don’t seem to develop any runs at all, while others are more prone to runs.
